Deep Dish Conversations is entering a new era, evolving from an award winning podcast into a hands-on community project that brings youth and diverse community members together over something simple and universal: PIZZA!
We visit schools, community centers, and youth-focused organizations to spark conversations between young people and the changemakers, leaders, creatives, and everyday community members doing incredible work in their communities. These conversations help youth see what’s possible, discover new paths, and feel more connected to the place they call home.
At Deep Dish Conversations, we believe that when young people meet the people working to make their communities better, they begin to see the possibilities for themselves and the roles they can play in strengthening their communities too.

About The Creator
Jerome Moore
Jerome Moore is a Nashville, TN native, Emmy-nominated TV host and producer, TEDx speaker, storyteller, and author of Deep Dish Conversations: Voices of Social Change in Nashville. He is the creator of Deep Dish Conversations, an award-winning podcast that has evolved into a hands-on community project, bringing youth and diverse community members together over something simple and universal: pizza.
Jerome is the host of A Slice of the Community on Nashville PBS and co-host of The Nashville Scene Podcast. His Nashville PBS series The Good in Us earned him his first Emmy nomination for hosting and producing.
In 2025, he premiered his first independent documentary chronicling the journey of Dr. Eiman Jahangir, the first Iranian-American man to travel to space.
Jerome has been recognized as a Nashville Gamechanger by The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee. As a former Peace Corps volunteer, he was named a 2025 "40 Under 40" honoree by the National Peace Corps Association. He was also selected for the In Charge 2026: Risers list in the Nashville Post Leaders 2026 issue for his leadership and community impact.
